Fête des Rois 

Venue: Windsor Tennis Club, 

37 Windsor Avenue

The Fête des Rois is a traditional French celebration in which families and friends come together to welcome the year ahead. We will be sharing slices of galette des rois and a glass of something sparkling.  Brendan will be back with his famous “machine de karaoke” and of course a golden paper crown or two for those lucky enough to find the fève or charm inside their portion of galette. 

Les Nuits de la Lecture célèbrent : L’enfance

We will be marking the 11th year of this event. Nuits de la Lecture runs from the 20th to 24th January in France and this year’s theme is L’enfance. This is an opportunity to share the pleasure of reading and to explore the topic of childhood. 

We’ll be holding our celebration on the Saturday afternoon.  In the meantime, if you have any reading suggestions appropriate to the theme please share them with us. In French and English with all levels welcome! 

Cercle de Lecture :

Our book discussions are always lively sessions. Our cercle isn’t short on opinions and these can be expressed in both French and English. For that reason, we have chosen a title which is available in both French and English versions and in audiobook format. Bookmark the date as we feel sure you’ll want to read and discuss.
